(Posted because years from now, I might wonder why John C Wright is on my list of "avoid at all costs" authors.)

Shortly after L. Jagi Lamplighter's racefail, people discovered a rant by her husband, John C Wright. He's a sf/f author published by TOR. He's also a racist (more), sexist, Islamaphobic (more), homophobe who is desperately in love with the sound of his own voice. He thinks Obama wants to kill us all, Catholicism is logical, and his books being shelved next to Susan Wright's "bondage fiction" is a conspiracy.

Responses since this idiocy broke have been by turns amusing and impressively thoughtful.
His wiki entry is being revised constantly.

I know, I was in it for years and all I learned was how to make grilled cheese over an open flame*!

*I do not actually know how. I mean, technically there's bread and cheese and butter and a metal can, but in practice there is BURNING AND SORROW

Damn, why would you not just have a grill or a griddle or something over the fire? If you're packing bread and cheese, it seems like you could have those.
